Truffle Trove, notre cheddar extra-vieux à la truffe noire d'été italienne, est la vedette de ce luxueux plat d'accompagnement. Débordant de saveurs crémeuses et servi bouillonnant et doré à la sortie du four, il constitue un accompagnement décadent pour un steak, un confit de canard ou votre viande rôtie préférée.
Method
Butter a gratin dish and lightly rub garlic around dish
Layer the potatoes into the dish ensuring even neat layers
After each layer sprinkle with cheese and season and repeat until all potatoes used
Mix together the cream, milk, nutmeg and seasoning, then pour over the potatoes
Sprinkle to layer with remaining cheese and bake at 180C (gas 5) for 1 to ¼ hours until tender and golden brown.
