Gather around the campfire and enjoy the irresistible combination of smoky melted Beech Wood and sweet, fiery hot honey. Inspired by classic campfire cooking, these simple cheese s'mores pair golden, gooey chunks of naturally smoked Cheddar with crisp crackers for the perfect fireside snack. Ready in minutes and made with just a handful of ingredients, they're ideal for camping trips, outdoor adventures or cosy evenings spent around the fire.
Light your campfire and allow the flames to settle into a steady, even heat.
Cut the Beech Wood into bite sized cubes, approximately 1cm thick, and 1 inch in width.
Put the cheese cubes onto skewers and hold over the fire, turning gently until golden, softened and just beginning to melt.
Dollop a little hot honey onto a cracker, then carefully slide the melted cheese on top.
Finish with a second cracker to create a sweet and smoky campfire cheese smore.
Serve immediately while the cheese is warm and irresistibly gooey.
